Our client based in the North Dublin area are currently looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant for an immediate start. This is an exciting position for anyone that wants career progression within a fast moving organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Maintenance of general ledgers
- Assist Accounts Payable team with invoice coding & payment and ensuring overall smooth processing
- Maintenance of proper & accurate accounts
- Dealing appropriately with reconciling items arising from account reconciliations
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly analyses
- Provide assistance with yearly statutory audit accounts
- Liaise with external auditors
- Outlining key performance indicators & general ledger metrics
- Generate efficiency in the IT systems, using ERP and consolidation systems
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Part qualified / in process of completing ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification
- Accounting Technician or similar
- BA in Commerce / Accounting Degree
- Accounting Software packages experience
- Proficient MS Office skills
